KIDS 4-9 ARE INVITED ON FEBRUARY 16 TO TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE
Part of USA Hockey's 6th Annual Hockey Weekend Across America Celebration
Children ages four to nine are invited to a free hockey clinic at the RecPlex Ice Arena on Saturday, February 16 between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. as part of USA Hockey's Hockey Weekend Across America. The clinic is being hosted by the Pleasant Prairie Patriots and is offered as a way for parents to learn if their children have an interest in the sport of hockey prior to registering for a hockey program. Participants are asked to arrive at least 40 minutes before the start of the clinic for an equipment fitting.
Brian Luburich, Operations Director at the RecPlex Ice Arena explained, "A free hockey clinic is a great way for kids to discover hockey for the first time in a fun and encouraging environment. We're so excited to be able to introduce new players to the sport!" Try Hockey for Free is a joint effort between USA Hockey, the National Hockey League and NHL member clubs. To register for Try Hockey for Free, parents can visit www.TryHockeyForFree.com or call the Pleasant Prairie Patriots at 262.947.3622.
