On Tuesday, May 28, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved Final Site and Operational Plans for EVO Development, Inc. to construct The Plaza at Prairie Ridge. EVO Development is a Wisconsin-based commercial real estate development company. EVO plans to construct a commercial building that will accommodate three to five retail tenants on vacant land within the Prairie Ridge West Commercial Development.
Plans call for the construction of a 9,000 square foot multi-tenant building on approximately 1.42 acres at the southeast corner of State Highway 50 and 104th Avenue. The property is located between an existing Olive Garden Restaurant and the future Cheddar's Casual Café, which is currently under construction. Exterior building materials will include natural stone veneer, brick and cast stone. Approximately 23% of the 1.42-acre property will remain open space.
Anticipated hours of operation for potential future tenants of the building are 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. daily. Between 20 and 25 full-time and between 10 and 15 part-time employees are expected to work from the new building, depending upon the final mix of tenants. No tenants have yet been identified for the location.
