Due to the recent snowfall, the project timeline mentioned below has changed. The closure of 116th Street, referred to below, has been delayed until Wednesday of this week (March 15) and is expected to last through Friday, March 17. The closure at 4th Avenue is now expected to take place during the early portion of the week starting March 20.

The Village of Pleasant Prairie Public Works Department will replace two road crossing culverts on 116th Street in the vicinity of 4th Avenue east to Lakeshore Drive. This culvert replacement work will involve complete closure of the roadway on 116th Street between Monday, March 13 at 8:00 a.m. and Thursday, March 16 at 3:00 p.m. Detour signage will be in place to route motorists around the work.

For the closure at 116th Street east of 4th Avenue, traffic will be directed to 115th Street. The eastern portion of 116th Street will remain open for 116th Street residents only. For the closure at 4th Avenue north of 116th Street, traffic will be routed down 116th Street to Lake Shore Drive and back along 115th Street.

All roads will be reopened by noon on Friday, March 17, 2017.
