COMMUNITY INVITED TO MINI MAKER FAIRE PLANNING MEETING WEDNESDAY, MAY 24 AT 5:15 P.M.

You are invited to join us at our first Mini Maker Faire community planning meeting on Wednesday evening, May 24 from 5:15 until 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Village Hall Auditorium (with parking on the south end of the building) at 9915 39th Avenue.

WHAT IS A MAKER FAIRE?
A Maker Faire is a community-based learning event that brings tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students and entrepreneurs together to "show their projects and talk about what they've learned." The event is meant to inspire "everyone to become a maker and connect people with projects in their local community." It's an exhibition with opportunities for hands on and do-it-yourself interactions.
The 2017 Pleasant Prairie Mini Makerfaire will take place in the field house at RecPlex on Saturday, November 25 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
