GIRLS INVITED TO "TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE" CLINIC AT RECPLEX. REGISTRATION IS NOW UNDERWAY.

The Vipers Girls Hockey Club invites girls ages 4 to 14 to a "Try Hockey For Free" clinic as part of Hockey Week Across America. The clinic will take place on Saturday, February 25 at 11:40 a.m. at the RecPlex Ice Arena. Participants can experience what it's like to play ice hockey and learn some basic skills in a fun, safe environment. "We look forward to welcoming families to the RecPlex Ice Arena to try the great sport of ice hockey," said Matt Markowski, Vipers Girls Under 14 Team Manager.

Brian Luburich, Operations Director at RecPlex Ice Arena added, "We're excited to host the Vipers and their ‘Try Hockey for Free' clinic. We're excited to see more young ladies participating in the sport of ice hockey. It has so much to offer… from camaraderie to improved fitness and self-confidence!"

USA Hockey's Try Hockey program, with support from the National Hockey League and NHL member clubs, is designed to provide youth hockey associations with a national platform to introduce the sport to children. The Vipers wish to thank the official sponsors for "Try Hockey for Free" days, including Total Hockey and Liberty Mutual Insurance. USA Hockey has nearly 300 locations offering this unique opportunity to kids nationwide.

Participants are asked to register in advance for the "Try Hockey for Free" clinic by visiting www.TryHockeyForFree.com. Pleasant Prairie RecPlex is located at 9900 Terwall Terrace in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The Ice Arena is on the north end of the facility.
