On Sunday, November 17, at 6:59 p.m., three black females entered the Ugg Australia store located at 11211 120th Avenue. Within moments, the store employees observed suspicious behavior and one of the three concealing shoeboxes from a display rack. Two store employees approached the shoplifters when they tried to exit the store and asked them to either drop the three boxes of shoes or pay for them.

One of the suspects began to push and slap at the employees. The three suspects then dropped two of the three boxes and left the store with the third box of shoes.  Seconds later, one of the suspects opened the front door and sprayed pepper spray into the store from a large container she was carrying.

The pepper spray affected nine people in the store. Pleasant Prairie Police called for Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue to respond. Bristol Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene to treat the employees and customers. Everyone was treated and released from the scene.

Police continue their investigation and are releasing photos of the suspects who were also involved in a retail theft from the Nike Store at the shopping center earlier that evening. Anyone who has information on the identities of the three individuals is encouraged to contact Detective Bureau at 262.694.7353.
