The Village would like to congratulate the Pleasant Prairie Rampage on a successful hockey season. The Rampage, based out of the RecPlex Ice Arena, finished first place in the Great Lakes Division with a regular season record of 34 and 12. (At press time, the rampage were scheduled to play for the Minnesota Junior Hockey League Championship.)
The Rampage is a Tier 3 Junior A hockey team in the Minnesota Junior Hockey League. Players on the Rampage are ages 15 to 20 and aspire to continue their hockey career in higher tier and college hockey teams. "The Rampage has really generated a following for local hockey - in both young players and in their fan base. Crowds at the local games have been reflecting a great enthusiasm for the sport locally," explained Brian Luburich, Ice Operations and Sports Director for Pleasant Prairie. "You can see and feel the increase in the spectators' enthusiasm during a game!"
The Rampage regular season runs August through March, and spectators are always welcome. There is a gate charge for adults, and children under 12 are free. The Village would once again like to congratulate the Rampage players, coaches and families on a successful season.
