Residential leaf collection in the Village of Pleasant Prairie, which was originally scheduled to begin on April 1, will be delayed by one week. The first day of residential leaf collection will now be Monday, April 8.
Leaf collection for each of the nine zones identified in the Village will be delayed by exactly one week, or seven days. For example, if leaf collection for your zone had been scheduled for April 1, your new collection date will be April 8.
A revised leaf collection schedule is available as a PDF below. Residents can also contact the Public Works Department at 925-6700. The decision to delay leaf collection for one week was made due to the late winter weather conditions.
As part of Solid Waste Services provided in the Village, crews collect loose, un-bagged leaves directly from your curb or roadside each fall and spring. This year, spring leaf collection will begin on April 8. To learn more about spring leaf collection and to see a leaf collection map and schedule, please click here.
