New Information Technology Director Named in Pleasant Prairie
The Village of Pleasant Prairie is pleased to announce that, following a national search, Daniel Honore has been named the new Information Technology (IT) Director for the Village. Honore possesses more than 25 years of information technology experience in the education, manufacturing and healthcare industries.
Honore has held roles as Chief Information Officer, Director of Information Services, Senior Business Systems Analyst, and Manager-National Information Systems. He most recently served as Interim Chief Information Officer with Rockford Orthopedic Associates.
Honore holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. Honore has experience with: strategic planning, project management, security and disaster planning, resource and capacity planning, budgeting and cost control, change management, vendor management, contract negotiation, and mentoring and coaching.
Pleasant Prairie Village Administrator Mike Pollocoff explained, "Dan brings an extensive skill set to a department that has already demonstrated innovative and results driven performance. Dan's selection was based on his many years of progressive experience in IT and his interview scores." Pollocoff added, "I'm incredibly pleased that Dan has accepted the IT Director position. I believe he'll provide outstanding leadership to the department as they continue to help the Village provide services to residents as efficiently and effectively as possible." Honore began as IT Director on Monday, September 9.
