Thank you to all who joined us for a ribbon cutting ceremony for Pleasant Prairie's first dog park inside Ingram Park. The ribbon cutting was held on Saturday, October 5. Ingram Park is located on the north side of 93rd Street, east of 60th Avenue, on land donated by John and Dorothy Ingram.
The ceremony included: brief opening remarks, the ribbon cutting, canine-related presentations, and light refreshments. Thank you to Dogs of Endearment, Wagin' Tail Resort, B & J's Pampered Pup Bakery, and the Pleasant Prairie Police Department Canine Unit for participating in the ceremony.
The new dog park will feature two sections, one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs, a milk-bone shaped pond, and non-connected fire hydrants for the dogs' enjoyment. The dog park will be open from dawn until dusk daily following the ceremony.
Annual or daily dog park fees and rules, similar to those for county dog parks, have been established. More information related to dog park fees and rules is available at the park, by clicking "View PDF" below, or by calling 262.925.6700.
