As part of the 2016 paving program, contractors will begin adding a new surface layer of asphalt on Terwall Terrace (inside Prairie Springs Park) on August 15. Weather permitting the paving project is expected to be complete during the first week of September.

While the paving project is taking place, parking on Terwall Terrace will be limited to the 10-minute parking spaces for summer camp parents during drop off and pick up times. No other parking on Terwall Terrace will be available. Visitors who would have otherwise parked on Terwall Terrace are asked to use the Park and Ride lot on the southeast side of RecPlex. Additional alternatives for parking throughout the park are shown on the PDF below.

In addition to the paving along Terwall Terrace, a connection between the Prairie Springs Park path and the County Highway H bike path will be constructed, and a portion of Andrea Plaza will be repaved. A related project to extend a portion of the walking path off of the fire lane behind RecPlex is also expected to place yet this summer/fall.
