Plans approved for new Olive Garden restaurant and new retail building in Prairie Ridge Development...

In October, Site and Operational Plans were approved for a new Olive Garden restaurant to be located south of Highway 50 in the Prairie Ridge development. Plans call for a 7,441 square foot Olive Garden to be located on 77th Street, immediately west of Famous Dave’s. The restaurant has space for 246 patrons and will employ 80 full- and part-time staff members. A start date for construction of the project has not yet been announced.

Also approved in October were Site and Operational Plans for a third building in Prairie Ridge Commons, which is located to the east of Famous Dave’s in the Prairie Ridge shopping area. Plans are for an additional multi-tenant building to compliment the two existing buildings. The two existing buildings are home to Starbucks, FedEx Kinkos, Cost Cutters and additional businesses. The developer will begin construction of the third building, once tenants’ leases have been signed for the planned spaces.
