CONTRACT AWARDED FOR PHASE TWO OF PLEASANT PRAIRIE'S 2016 PAVING PROGRAM
During early June, Village staff solicited bids for phase two paving projects proposed as part of Pleasant Prairie's 2016 budget. On Monday, June 20, the Pleasant Prairie Village Board approved a contract with Payne & Dolan, Inc. in the amount of $385,266.05.
Phase two paving projects include work in five separate areas. Approximately 600 feet of the shared use path in Prairie Springs Park will be paved and restored along the south side of Lake Andrea. A two-inch overlay of asphalt will be placed on 90th Street, between 7th Avenue and Lakeshore Drive. Asphalt will be pulverized and replaced on 86th Street, 54th Avenue, and 85th Place.
Cracked concrete panels will be removed and replaced in the parking lot at Fire Station #1 (this work will be completed under warranty). Curb, gutter, base and asphalt pavement will be installed for the new equipment storage building that is being constructed at the Roger Prange Municipal Center.
