
The Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha County, Wisconsin will conduct a public hearing pursuant to Section 66.0827 Wis. Stats., to vacate Sewer Utility District D, alter the boundaries of the Lake Michigan Sanitary Sewer District and to establish the Pleasant Prairie Sewer Utility. This action will be considered in order to assure that the Village of Pleasant Prairie is in compliance with the rules of the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources governing the diversion of water from the Lake Michigan watershed.
A report and maps of the proposed district boundaries are on file at the Pleasant Prairie Village Hall, 9915 39th Avenue, and may be inspected there during any business day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
You are further notified that the governing body will hear all interested persons, or their agents or attorneys, concerning the vacation, altering and establishing of sewer utility districts in the Village and the above described report at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th day of November, 2009 in the Pleasant Prairie Village Hall, 9915 39th Avenue.
