Earlier this month, Census forms were mailed to every household in the Village. As required by our Constitution, a U.S. Census (a count of every person living in the United States) is conducted every ten years. If you haven't already, please complete and return your form by May 1. Please help us achieve a 100% response rate for the 2010 Census.

If Census forms are not returned or if residents have a PO Box address, census enumerators will be going door-to-door to obtain responses this May. (Please note: Census workers will not ask to enter your home for any reason.) If needed, extra forms are available at Village Hall on 39th Avenue.

Because Census forms were mailed to Pleasant Prairie residents through a regional postal distribution center, you may notice that the municipality in the mailing address is listed as Kenosha. Please be assured that your form has been coded correctly through the Census Bureau and will represent our community.
