New this fall, RecPlex in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin will begin offering a youth wrestling program. As part of the program, youth, ages 4 to 18, will learn the fundamental techniques of wrestling. Classes will be one hour in length, two days per week, and will be grouped by age. Open registration begins tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11.
“We feel this program will be a great addition to the current athletic offerings at RecPlex,” commented Josh Covelli, Wolfpack Wrestling Owner/Instructor. “Not only will kids learn fundamental wrestling techniques, but they'll also have the opportunity to learn the self-discipline, self-awareness, perseverance and respect that the sport promotes.” The program will focus on the same principals that are taught in school wrestling programs.
