On Monday, June 15, the Village Community Development Director, Jean Werbie, was honored by the Business Journal of Milwaukee as a Woman of Influence in Public Policy. Werbie was honored along side twenty-one other women from the region as a woman who has made a difference in the Milwaukee area community.

Werbie played a role in the ongoing development of LakeView Corporate Park, PrairieWood Corporate Park, LakeView RecPlex and Prairie Springs Park. She has been instrumental in building a base of quality, long-term development throughout the Village. The Village congratulates Jean on all of her accomplishments and thanks her for her dedication to creating a high quality of life for the residents of Pleasant Prairie.
