A road closure is planned for Russell Road which will affect access to Pleasant Prairie's Residential Recycling Center located at 8000 128th Street, Pleasant Prairie.

Closure is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 2 at 8:00 a.m. and will last until Friday, November 3 at 5:00 p.m. The closure is part of a Lake County Division of Transportation project along Russell Road and Kilbourne Road.

Detour signage will be posted directing traffic around the road closure. Traffic will be directed to 9th street from both HWY 31 (Green Bay Road) and Kilbourne Road.

The lane closure will accommodate work to fix the railroad crossing. The schedule for the completion of the work is weather dependent. If work is completed ahead of schedule, the road will reopen accordingly.
