On Monday, May 20, 2019, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Police Officers and Pleasant Prairie Fire & Rescue personnel were dispatched to the parking lot of Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen (10366 77th Street), Pleasant Prairie, for a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered the 19-year-old male, identified as Khaled M. Alchaar from Pleasant Prairie, with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Froedtert South hospital by Pleasant Prairie Fire & Rescue, where he later died.
Based on the nature of this call the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha Sheriff’s Department were made aware and members of those agencies also responded to assist the night of the shooting.
