On Monday, August 12, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved site and operational plans for United Conveyor Corporation (UCC). The request was made by Brendan O’Carroll of Morgan/Barbour, agent for United Conveyor Corporation, to occupy an existing 149,811 square foot building located at 7153 99th Street in Lake View Corporate Park.
UCC is a global leader in environmental solutions for power generation and heavy industry. Since 1920, UCC has been committed to the design, supply, construction, and maintenance of world-class systems precisely engineered to better serve utility and industrial customers. The company offers a global network of sales and service representatives serving customers and installations spanning six continents. UCC is expanding its production operations and has chosen Pleasant Prairie as the location for the strategic addition.

UCC will be a strong addition to our community and is exactly what we want to represent the Village of Pleasant Prairie.”
The project represents a $20 million investment which has been designed with a lean production approach that will utilize state-of-the-art equipment and optimize efficiencies throughout the production cycle. The company intends to be operational by October 2019.

UCC expects to employ approximately 30 people at the new facility with the possibility of future expansion. UCC currently employs over 400 employees worldwide with approximately 230 of those located at their Waukegan, Illinois, headquarters. UCC also has operations in Germany, India, Thailand and China.
