Prairie Springs Park and Lake Andrea plan to host the Pleasant Prairie Cup Jr. Triathlon on Sunday, June 2, and the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon on Sunday, June 23. In addition, RecPlex will be the host site for the WI Women’s Triathlon event on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
The dates for this year’s events are tentative, but the RecPlex staff is looking forward to cheering on these amazing athletes as they push to meet their goals. Each year, sporting events in Pleasant Prairie draw thousands of visitors to the community. These are great opportunities for the community and visitors to get involved in challenging and rewarding athletic events.
Seasonal sporting events at RecPlex positively affect the local economy by bringing tourism dollars into the community, which benefits local businesses, including retail establishments, restaurants, and hotels.
