Starting June 24th, the Village of Pleasant Prairie will be extending the Cooper Road closure to include the intersection with 80th Street in order to install sanitary sewer and manholes within the intersection. The Village and our contractor anticipates that the 80th Street and Cooper Road intersection will reopen by June 28th. The existing roadway closure for the remainder of Cooper road will continue into late July.
Please plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time to navigate around the construction area. Construction crews appreciate the public's cooperation during this temporary closure and ask those residents living or needing to travel in the project limits to use caution and be patient.
Local residents and businesses on Cooper Road to the north of 80th Street will need to take a detour access from 75th Street.
