COUNTY HOSTING A PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING REGARDING IMPROVEMENTS AT COUNTY HIGHWAY H AND BAIN STATION ROAD

A message on behalf of Kenosha County...

The Kenosha County Department of Public Works is announcing a public involvement meeting to discuss the reconstruction of the County H (88th Avenue) and Bain Station Road intersection in Pleasant Prairie. The existing 4-way stop intersection will be reconstructed as a roundabout.

The meeting is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Village of Pleasant Prairie Auditorium in the Village Hall building, 9915 39th Avenue, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158.

The intent of this public involvement meeting is to present the planned improvements, to show the planned detour route and construction schedule, and receive input from interested persons. Exhibits will be on display showing the planned roundabout layout and proposed detour route around the construction zone. These exhibits will be available for review and comment.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Representatives from Kenosha County Department of Public Works and R. A. Smith National (project Consulting Engineer) will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. Right-of-way acquisition and temporary grading easements are required to construct the project. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in July 2017.

If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like more information, contact Caleb Manske, Consultant Senior Project Engineer, at (262) 317-3332 or [email protected] or Ron Schildt, Senior Transportation Engineer, Kenosha County Department of Public Works, at (262) 857-1870 or [email protected].
