The Village of Pleasant Prairie Police Department announces the promotion and appointment of Police Lieutenant of Detectives Randal Myles to Deputy Chief of Police.  Deputy Chief Myles started his law enforcement career 23-years-ago as a Deputy Sheriff with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.  In 1996, he began his career in Pleasant Prairie Police Department as a Patrol Officer.  Deputy Chief Myles was selected to be a Field Training Officer in 1999, promoted to Detective in 2003, Detective Sergeant in 2013, and Lieutenant in charge of the Investigative Bureau in 2016.

Deputy Chief Myles holds a Master’s Degree from Marquette University, and successfully completed Northwestern University’s 10-week School of Police Staff and Command in Evanston, Illinois, where he was also selected by a national group of law enforcement executives to be Class #433 President.


Deputy Chief Myles began his new role on October 28.
