
Recently, appointments were made for various Village boards and commissions, including the: Plan, Park, Recreation, School, and Police & Fire Commissions; Board of Review; and Board of Appeals. Also appointed were representatives to the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau and the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce.
Those appointed to boards and commissions are Village residents who have expertise related to their specific board or commission along with a willingness to serve their community.
The Village is currently seeking five additional commission members. Two alternates are needed for a one-year appointment to the Park Commission; one alternate is needed for a one-year appointment to the Recreation Commission; one member is needed for a two-year term, also on the Recreation Commission; and one member is needed for a two-year appointment to the School Commission.
