Plan Commission

The Village Plan Commission reviews all development projects proposed in the Village. Their actions are based on The Village of Pleasant Prairie's 2035 Comprehensive Plan. The general purpose of the Comprehensive Plan is to provide guidance and direction to the Plan Commission in reviewing development proposals in order to accomplish a well coordinated, balanced, and harmonious development of the community while promoting quality of life. The Commission reviews items such as, but not limited to, neighborhood plans, conceptual plans, subdivision plats, development plans, certified survey maps, zoning map and text amendments, conditional use permits, site and operational plans, street lighting requests, street vacation requests, Tax Incremental Finance District project plans, and more.

2024 Plan Commission Schedule

The Plan Commission typically meets the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Hall Auditorium.   The Plan Commission agendas are posted online (see "meeting information" tab) and at the Village Hall located at 9915 39th Avenue.

The agenda is available at the auditorium door prior to the meeting. Items listed will be considered at the meeting. The public is invited to comment during the Citizen Comments portion of the meeting, at any public hearing listed on the agenda or if invited by the Plan Commission Chairman. No sign-up sheet is required to speak at the meeting.
