LakeView RecPlex is pleased to introduce E-FitNews, a monthly, email newsletter available to both RecPlex members and non-members. E-FitNews will contain free fitness tips, information and updates regarding youth and adult sports programs, facility notices about holiday hours, and specialty programs. RecPlex has created the email newsletter to help better inform members and guests of ongoing updates that will affect their use of the facility and its programs. E-FitNews was also created as a vehicle to share health and wellness information with the public to help promote more healthful living.
"We really look at RecPlex and all of the programs it offers as a community resource," remarked Steve Moreland, Webmaster for RecPlex and the Village of Pleasant Prairie. "The types of services and programs available to the surrounding community is amazing, from special needs programs and childcare, to sports, fitness and rehabilitation services. E-FitNews will help us extend the message about community services a little bit further."
Those interested in receiving E-FitNews can sign up for the newsletter online at RecPlexOnline.com. A link is located at the top of the page. When registering, people will be prompted for their email address. They will then be able to select their areas of interest and will be prompted to enter their name and address information. Information submitted when registering for E-FitNews will not be shared with any outside groups or organizations.
LakeView RecPlex is a multi-sport, recreational facility. It is owned and operated by the Village of Pleasant Prairie. Because it has been established as an "enterprise fund" it operates without the support of tax dollars.
