Concerned Citizens Coalition Donates Funds for a Portable Breath Testing Device
On October 18, the Concerned Citizens Coalition on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse for Greater Kenosha presented an honorary check to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department for the purchase of an additional portable breath testing device (PBT). The Coalition, which was established in 1988, strives to "eliminate substance abuse in Kenosha County by coordinating education programs, events and resources so that families engage in healthy lifestyles."
The donation has provided the Pleasant Prairie Police Department an additional tool as they continue their work to serve and protect the community. The department wishes to sincerely thank the Concerned Citizens Coalition for this donation and for the important work they are performing. "The support of community advocates and volunteers has a positive impact on the quality of life for all families in the community," explained Chief Wagner. "The awareness that the Concerned Citizens Coalition creates and the support they provide enhances our department's ability to promote a safe and healthy environment here in the Village, and we thank them."
