COMPOST SITE NOW OPEN FOR THE SEASON
The Compost Drop-off Site has opened for the season and will remain open now through December 4, weather permitting. Pleasant Prairie operates a Compost Drop-off Site for Village residents. The site is easy to use, with regular weekly hours, drop-off options and the same free items for Village residents - compost and wood chips. The drop-off options can help you work around times when you need more flexibility with your disposal options, such as dropping off garbage and recycling before taking a vacation.
The Compost Drop-off Site is located at the Roger Prange Municipal Center at 8600 Green Bay Road. The site is situated in the southwest corner of the property. When using the site, please be prepared to provide proof of residence in Pleasant Prairie. If you frequent the site, for your convenience, you can request a compost sticker for your automobile window. (Compost services are for residential use only. Dumping by commercial contractors is not allowed.)
