Walkers and runners of all ages and abilities were invited to take part in the 6th Annual Family 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, May 8, 2010 inside Prairie Springs Park. The annual event took place during Mother's Day weekend in celebration of family and good health. Results for the events are available by clicking "View PDF" below.

This year's walk/run has been designed as part of a three race series. In addition to the Family Walk/Run, the series will include the SportsFest 5K walk/run on July 24 and the 5K Run With the Turkeys, held on November 20. An overall male and female Series Champion will be announced at the conclusion of the 2010 5K Series. Each walk/run in the series will be a timed event.

This was the sixth year that Pleasant Prairie has hosted a walk/run event on Mother's Day weekend. “The Family Walk/Run is a great way to celebrate Mother's Day with a healthy, community and family centered activity,” commented Lyn Boehm, Programs Director for the Village of Pleasant Prairie. “We would like to thank all those who came out to participate.”
