The Village would like to thank the Pleasant Prairie Women's club for hosting the March 20 School Candidate Forum. The Village would also like to thank all those that attended to learn more about the School Board Candidates.
During the forum, candidates were asked to address questions from attendees that were written down prior to the start of the formal answer session. The forum featured incumbents Mary K. Snyder and Carl J. Bryan, along with new candidates Tamarra Coleman, Todd Jacobs, Steven Davis, and Shannon Molina. Pleasant Prairie Woman's Club representative Susan Lawler acted as the moderator for the forum.
Candidates were given two minutes to speak towards why they are running for the School Board and what their qualifications are. The moderator directed questions provided by forum attendees to each of the candidates. The purpose of the forum is to help members of the community become more familiar with those wishing to serve as elected officials on their behalf.
A taping of the Forum is available on Time Warner Cable Channel 25 at noon and 8:00 p.m. through election day.
