The Pleasant Prairie Police and Fire Commission has named Craig Roepke as the new Assistant Chief of Fire & Rescue for the Village of Pleasant Prairie. Roepke has been with the department since May of 1982, first serving as a Paid-on-Call Firefighter and then being hired as a full-time Firemedic in 2009. Roepke has a long tenure with the department.
He has earned designations of: Firefighter-1, 2, and 3; EMT; EMT-D; EMT-I; and Paramedic. Roepke is also a Certified Driver/Operator-Pumper, Fire Instructor, Inspector and Officer. Roepke is a member of the Kenosha County Specialized Response Teams - Haz-Mat and Tech Rescue; the Lake/McHenry Specialized Response Teams &- Wildland Team; a Community Emergency Response Team Instructor; and a graduate of the Gateway Technical College Officer Leadership Academy (COLA).
