St. Catherine's Hospital
Medical Center Campus Receives Award for Best New Development or Renovation in Health Care
Please join us in congratulating St. Catherine's Medical Center. For the past seven years, the Milwaukee Business Journal has recognized real estate projects throughout southeastern Wisconsin for the impact that they have on the community. This spring, the Business Journal recognized Pleasant Prairie's St. Catherine's Medical Center Campus vertical expansion as a first place winner of the Best New Development or Renovation in Health Care. Project credits include: United Hospital System as owner; Riley Construction as general contractor; Welman Architects; Graef as engineer; and subcontractors Becker Electrical Group, Chilstrom Erecting Corp, Lee Plumbing Mechanical Contractors, Martin Petersen Co Inc, and Ring & DuChateau Inc.
The project team constructed a three-story, 322,000 square foot addition over an existing and active two-story hospital. The project, which was completed in April of 2011, had a cost of $70 million and provided added capacity to accommodate an "expanding population" in the area. The Village would like to congratulate the project team on the honor.
