On Saturday, November 10, the Village held a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor America's service men and women and to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the dedication of Pleasant Prairie's Veterans Memorial. The ceremony was held at the Veterans Memorial inside Prairie Springs Park. During the ceremony, bricks and benches were dedicated and a moment of silence was observed. The Veterans Memorial is located in the southeast corner of the park.
The Village Board and staff would like to humbly thank all those who joined us to help recognize the sacrifices and contributions made by our service men and women. The Village would also like to sincerely thank those who volunteered their time and refreshments to welcome guests at the ceremony. A final thank you to those who helped support the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight program. Learn more at starsandstripeshonorflight.org.
