A Night in the Prairie will not take place this summer. Hosted by the Pleasant Prairie Arts Council in 2013, A Night in the Prairie showcased local bands, along with refreshments, at Lake Andrea inside Prairie Springs Park.

The Arts Council currently has only six active members, which is not enough to carry out an event of that size. The Council has hopes of reviving this event and creating other cultural opportunities in the future as it continues to grow over time.
