The Pleasant Prairie Historical Society welcomes respected archeologist Dr. David Overstreet as our featured speaker during our 4th Annual Historical Society Potluck Dinner and Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 20 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Overstreet is a well-known and respected archeologist responsible for unearthing and documenting the archeologically significant Chesrow discovery in Pleasant Prairie. His presentation will include insight into this and other significant archeological discoveries found within Pleasant Prairie.
Additional activities during the evening include a social gathering, potluck dinner, and a brief annual business meeting. There is no charge for this potluck dinner event, although those who attend are asked to bring a dish to pass. Community members interested in learning about Pleasant Prairie’s archeological history or joining the Pleasant Prairie Historical Society are encouraged to attend and share in the evening’s activities.
