Lake Andrea Beach inside Prairie Springs Park opens for the season on June 7. During 2014, the beach will be open from June 7 until September 1. The beach will be closed during summer triathlon events.
Lake Andrea Beach is a guarded, sand beach on an inland, spring-fed lake in Pleasant Prairie. The beach is open daily, weather permitting, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Adult lap swimming is available between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. Kayak, canoe and pedal boat rentals are also available at Lake Andrea Beach.
Admission to the beach is available with a park pass or a RecPlex membership. Individual daily park passes cost between $4 and $7 depending upon residency. Family, 5-packs of passes are available for between $20 and $30. Family season passes are also available for between $40 and $70 based on residency. Park passes include access to Lake Andrea Beach, the archery range and windsurfing launch and are available at both Pleasant Prairie RecPlex and the Lake Andrea Beach.
