The Village would like to thank those who joined us for a groundbreaking ceremony on July 7 for the new park and ride facility inside Prairie Springs Park. The park and ride will be the first created in Kenosha County and was made possible through cooperative efforts with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Kenosha County and the Village of Pleasant Prairie.
The lot will accommodate approximately 387 vehicles and is intended to promote and support carpooling opportunities. It will be paid for with a State Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality grant originally awarded to Kenosha County and funds from Pleasant Prairie’s TIF District #2. The park and ride is expected to be complete in mid-October. It is located east of Terwall Terrace across from the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex.
