During the month of June, the Pleasant Prairie Police Department began partnering with CrimeReports.com, a website that maps recent crime trends across North America. On a rolling basis, the Pleasant Prairie Police Department will be providing CrimeReports.com with five days worth of data to populate the interactive mapping site. Interested parties can visit the site in order to see current criminal trends and sex offender data in the Village and can submit tips related to potential criminal activity.
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department uses several other methods to make data available to residents and media alike. These include a Facebook page, Twitter.com, Nixle.com, and a news archive here. A daily incident log is also posted here. The Kenosha News also shares police department information through the local newspaper and their website as well.
