Public input is being sought regarding temporary stop signs that have been installed at three locations in the Village of Pleasant Prairie. The stop signs were installed earlier this year at the intersections of: County Highway H and Bain Station Road; County Highway C and Bain Station Road; and County Highway C and 104th Avenue. The stop signs were initially installed to help manage increased traffic traveling through a detour route around construction at the intersection of County Highways C and H.
The Village of Pleasant Prairie is asking those who live, work or travel through the area to answer some brief questions and offer input as to whether they would like to see the stop signs remain. The public input received will be considered, along with other factors such as established traffic safety standards and upcoming development in the area, as the Kenosha County Division of Highways makes a final decision regarding these intersections.
