On Monday evening, March 17, the Pleasant Prairie Village Board appointed Kristopher M. Keckler to the position of Trustee #1. Keckler was appointed to the position following the resignation of Trustee Monica Yuhas and will serve until the position comes up for election in 2015. Keckler took his Oath of Office during the Monday, March 17 meeting of the Village Board.
Keckler is a graduate of Tremper High School and Carthage College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Broad Field Social Studies with a Minor in Philosophy. Keckler also holds a Master of Education in Technology and Educational Leadership and has several certifications related to Administration, Information Technology, and Education. Keckler is currently the Executive Director of Information and Accountability for Kenosha Unified School District.
“Through the application and interview process, Mr. Keckler expressed his understanding of the role that local government plays in a healthy community,” explained Village President John Steinbrink Sr. “He understands that residents and businesses want to find value in a community. We welcome Trustee Keckler to the Village Board and look forward to working with him to meet our community’s needs.”
