Hazardous Waste Collection takes place on the first Saturday of every month (through December, weather permitting) from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the new Residential Recycling Center at 8000 128th Street.
You may bring products that say:
Caution, Combustible, Corrosive, Danger, Flammable, Pesticide, Poison, Reactive, Toxic or Warning. Products will be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.
Items not accepted include:
biological material or medical wastes, commercial waste, propane cylinders, explosives, radioactive materials, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, latex paint (not considered hazardous), or tires (collected at the Residential Recycling Center daily for a small fee, $5 each).
