VILLAGE OF PLEASANT PRAIRIE TO HOST JOB & CAREER FAIR ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8
YOUTH AND ADULTS INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT CAREER PATHS AND CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

All are invited to attend a Job & Career Fair hosted by the Village of Pleasant Prairie on Saturday, October 8 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in the LakeView Studio at Pleasant Prairie RecPlex (9900 Terwall Terrace, Pleasant Prairie, WI).

During the fair, attendees can speak with representatives from different departments to learn what career paths are available in municipal government in Pleasant Prairie. Attendees will also be able to submit resumes and apply for current job openings with the Village.

On the spot interviews will be conducted, and job offers may be extended during the Job & Career Fair. Those who submit an application or resume for a current opening will qualify for a free day pass to RecPlex. Current openings include: DPW streets, utilities, seasonal parks, firemedics, and many opportunities in recreation.

"All job seekers, including high school and college students, are encouraged to attend to learn about future career options and to speak with representatives from various departments to learn what skills departments use as they work to make a difference in the community," explained Carol Willke, Human Resources Director for Pleasant Prairie. "Whether you're looking for an available job opportunity or planning for your future, we'd love to meet you to share the opportunities available to you in municipal government."
