FALL LEAF COLLECTION EXTENDED INTO THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF DECEMBER IN PLEASANT PRAIRIE
Fall Leaf Collection in Pleasant Prairie has been extended into the first two weeks of December due to favorable weather conditions and the number of trees that haven't yet dropped their leaves. Leaf collection will take place on the following dates by collection zone: Zone 1 on December 5; Zone 2 on December 6; Zone 3 on December 7; Zone 4 on December 8; Zone 5 on December 9; Zone 6 on December 12; Zone 7 on December 13; Zone 8 on December 14; and Zone 9 on December 15.
The extended leaf collection schedule will be weather dependent and could be impacted by unforeseen equipment issues or emergencies that could pull staff off of schedule. If residents miss their final round of leaf collection, Pleasant Prairie residents may bring their leaves to the Residential Recycling Center located at 8000 128th Street. New this year, the site will remain open for residents on Saturdays only, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. throughout the off-season (December through March).
