Walkers and runners of all ages are invited to dress up in your favorite costume and join us at the Scary in the Prairie 5K Walk/Run. Scary in the Prairie will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 5:00 p.m. inside Prairie Springs Park in Pleasant Prairie. The course will take participants through the wooded trails of the park and around Lake Andrea.
This is a timed event, and the overall male and female finisher will receive awards. Individual awards for the top three male/female finishers in each age group will also be given. The registration cost is $30; RecPlex members receive a $5 discount. The registration cost for a family of four is $75. Each registration includes a goodie bag along with an event t-shirt and post-race refreshments.

"Aside from some crazy costumes, this evening run may offer some spooky surprises for runners along the trail and will be fun for all ages."
