SPRINGBROOK ROAD WATER MAIN PROJECT UNDERWAY
DRIVERS ASKED TO USE GREAT CARE WHEN TRAVELING THROUGH PROJECT AREA
Work on a water main project along Springbrook Road between State Highway 31 and 47th Avenue is underway. The purpose of this project, like water main work being performed along Sheridan Road, is to improve the operation and reliability of Pleasant Prairie's water system.
Crews will work with property owners in the area to maintain access to properties throughout the construction project. Those driving through the work area should plan for slight travel delays related to daytime lane closures. Travel through daytime lane closures in the work area will be facilitated with flagging crews. Both lanes will remain open outside of flagged closures throughout the duration of the work.
Crews will be working alongside and under the road and road right of way. Drivers in the area are asked to use extreme care when traveling through the area and to abide by traffic control signs, barricades and flaggers for the safety of all. The project is expected to be complete this fall.
