STRUCTURE FIRE AT 6200 BLOCK OF 63RD AVENUE
On Thursday, August 25 at 7:30 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Fire & Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire with a report of detached garage on fire. Upon arrival, units found a detached garage with smoke coming out of the eves on three sides.
Fire & Rescue personnel quickly gained entry into the garage, located the seat of the fire, and extinguished it with minimal water. There were no injuries, and the nearby home was not damaged. The Kenosha County Fire Investigation Task Force was called in to assist in the investigation of the cause and origin of the fire. The fire was not suspicious in nature.
