TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNALS BEING PLACES AT 91ST STREET EAST OF SHERIDAN ROAD
Drivers Asked to Use Care in Work Area
Work on a water main project near 91st Street and Sheridan Road will require the installation of temporary traffic signals along a small stretch of 91st Street between Sheridan Road and the Union Pacific railroad tracks.
Weather permitting, the temporary traffic signals are expected to be in place on Monday, July 18. Approximately one week later, a second set of temporary traffic signals will be placed east of the Union Pacific railroad tracks, just south of 90th Street along 7th Avenue.
Traffic along these sections of roadway will be reduced to a single lane in order to accommodate the drilling work related to the project. During this time frame, there will be open trenches in the closed portions of the roadway.
Drivers and bicyclists are asked to use extreme care when traveling through the work area. Please abide by traffic control signs, signals, barricades, and flaggers. The temporary traffic signals will be removed once work in the area is complete.
