REGISTRATION UNDERWAY FOR INDOOR/OUTDOOR TRIATHLON ON SUNDAY, APRIL 30
Registration is now underway for an Indoor/Outdoor Triathlon being held at RecPlex on Sunday, April 30. The race consists of a 400-yard swim, 4-mile spin bike ride, and a 2.3-mile outdoor run (weather permitting). Scoring is based on total distance, and awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners.

The race is open to ages eight (8) and older, and advanced registration is required. "The indoor/outdoor triathlon is a great motivational tool and a great way to assess your fitness level in preparation for the rapidly approaching outdoor triathlon season," explained Sandy Wiedmeyer, Fitness Director at RecPlex. "This format is a fun way to both train and compete athletically before it's warm enough to take training completely outdoors."

The registration fee for the Indoor /Outdoor Triathlon is $40 through April 23 and $45 thereafter. Post race refreshments are provided.
