The Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue Department would like to remind residents to get rid of trees after the holiday or when they become dry. Dried out trees are a fire danger and should not be left in the house or garage or placed outside against the home.
Listed below are six holiday tree drop-off locations available for residents from December 26 through January 31.
Only trees are accepted.
Following these guidelines will prevent damage to the chipping machine and help keep costs lower for all residents. Please remove all wreaths, garland, lights, ornaments, tree bags, stands, and nails before placing the holiday tree inside the fenced area.
